How I print directly from the Creality dryer. To print directly from the dryer, I printed a bracket to move the filament runout senor to inside the dryer. The runout sensor bracket is mounted to the top of the underside of the dryer in aliment with the hole Creality manufactured into the dryer. I then drilled the hole and tapped it to accept the PTFE quick disconnect tube fitting from the runout sensor. I purchased a runout sensor electrical extension cable from Aliexpress.
I printed the white colored "hoop", screwed in a PTFE tube quick disconnect, drilled a 1/2" hole in the center of the K1C cover and drilled and tapped and bolted the hoop to the cover. I also printed a small plate to cover the opening in the cover where the PTFE tube ran through the cover originally. Where the filament exits the hoop is a large chamfer to allow for the filament angle as the extruder travels to the far corners of the print bed.
I printed four riser sides 6" tall with the front risers having a slot where I inserted a 6" x 10" clear piece of plexiglass to allow for a clear view of the filament and the extruder.
I now print directly from the Creaility dryer. My next project is to move the on/off switch from the back of these two pieces of equipment to the front.
